The White Connection

With Memorial Day right around the corner, I am rekindling my love for everything white. Honestly speaking, my sartorial convictions don't really concur with the "no white after labor day " proposition and  regardless, I wear white all-year-round; and this time it was on Mother's day.  I could have picked out a more youthful, colorful dress for the occasion, but besides the fact that it was an extremely hot day and white was the coolest color I could think of, I was drawn to the feminine detailing on this dress. The eyelet lace bodice, the pleated bottom, come on what's not to like about this one!! Moreover white is the color of purity, goodness, innocence and positivity; I couldn't go wrong.  To do justice to my colorful-self, I had to add the pink bag and to offset any boredom factor; came in the paisley printed espadrilles. Overall a Happy-Mom look! What do you think of this look?
