The week before your wedding
The week before your wedding can be a stressful time, with all the months of planning behind you and the approach of your wedding day nearly here.
Firstly you need to backtrack and contact all your suppliers to make sure they have not forgotten you. This is so important as most of your plans were made months ago and sometimes owners or staff have changed, and a friendly phone call can save a problem before it happens.
The florist should receive a call from you just to touch base and make sure your flowers will be ready on time, and are still the flowers of your choice.
The cake decorator is another one for you to call and maybe arrange a suitable time to see your amazing wedding cake, and refresh on delivery date and time.
The make up artist and hairdresser are another two , making sure they will be there at their appointed time. Make sure you allow extra time in case they fall behind schedule.
Contact the catering company with final numbers of guests. You should by now have all your final acceptances. Table seating plans are a must now if not well before.
A check with the photographer to finalize details .
The groom needs to make sure hire suits for his groomsmen have been altered and ready for pick up on time , preferably 2 days before.
You will already have your wedding gown, so no need to worry about that.
Gifts for the bridal parties should have been bought by now.
Arrangement of rehearsal for 2-3 days before your wedding.
One thing often forgotten is the emcee and DJ , so make sure you contact them , this way you will be assured for the right music at the right time.
