The trailer for Dabangg 2, an upcoming Bollywood film, which is a sequel to the 2010 film Dabangg, got launched on the reality show Bigg Boss 6 today.
Bigg Boss 6 is a reality TV show aired on COLORS Channel. Salman Khan is the host of the show.
Arbaaz Khan, the director, writer and producer of the film joined his elder brother Salman Khan on the sets of Bigg Boss 6 to make two announcements. First, to launch the trailer of Dabangg 2.
The star casts include Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha, Prakash Raj, Vinod Khanna, Sandeepa Dhar, Deepak Dobriyal, Anju Dallakoti and Nikitan Dheer.
Salman and Sonakshi will reprise their lead roles while Prakash Raj plays the antagonist. Kareena Kapoor has done a special appearance in the film.
Dabangg 2 will invade theatres on December 21st, 2012.
The second announcement that Arbaaz made is the eviction of cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu. His wife appealed to the channel that he must quit the show as the BJP high command wanted him to campaign for the upcoming Gujarat Polls.
