Sorry for the silence lovelies, I have been moving house all weekend and we all know how much fun that can be, especially when moving between islands.
Instead of my 'teach me something' Monday. I thought I would have a chat about the Sunshine Award. I was nominated by the beautiful Milica over at her blog Curly Curves. The Sunshine Award is a blogger to blogger nominated award for 'Bloggers who positively and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere'.
I am lucky, this is the second award I have been nominated for. I still have not posted the first as it is an award for new bloggers and most of the bloggers I follow are well established. So maybe I need to get scouting this weekend.

11 Random Facts About Me:
1) I never finish my cup of tea or coffee. No matter what, I always leave a little cold mouthful at the bottom and it annoys my family to no end.
2) I'm that kid who is allergic to EVERYTHING.
3) My favorite books to read are autobiographies. I'm obsessed with peoples personal stories (nosey).
4) I drink my morning coffee out of a My Little Pony mug (but not all of it).
5) I hate boats. I have trouble with balance enough in my everyday life on dry land.
6) I am a very unorganised person. I have always operated on the 'she be right' notion. As I am getting older I am realising this needs to change for my sanity.
7) We have a ginger cat called Tito and she is a little madam.
8) It is hard to believe now, but there was a time when I gave up all of my creative hobbies in favour of studying science. I now realize it is important for me to have both.
9) I have developed a keen love of gardening - I'm not sure if this is because I am getting old and boring or because I love to be surrounded by flowers.
10) On the topic of flowers...flowers and food are my two favorite things to take photos of. Neither whinge and hide when you get the camera out.
11) The one time I will complain in a restaurant is when someone brings me a really bad coffee. Cold food I can deal with, a bad coffee is a sin.

1. Favorite cuisine? Italian food. I could eat it until I have a sore tummy.
2. Most beautiful place you've visited? The place that took your breathe away...Sapa - Northern Vietnam.
3. The best beauty product you have ever used? Bio-Oil - You can use it on any area of your body.
4. What is your dream place? Where would you like to live? Brooklyn, New York. This is the one place on my travels that has far exceeded my expectations and where I felt most at home.
5. What is your biggest passion? Photography.
6. Who is your favorite blogger? Olivia Rae James - I love her photos, she inspires a lot of the shots I take of the simple things.
7. Person you admire the most, the one you would like to meet? This is a hard one. I don't think I know her yet. But the woman I would most like to meet is the one who is brave enough to have a career and a family and make her own rules in life. She's the woman I want to meet and later to become.
8. Favorite TV Show? Modern Family.
9. The best thing that has ever happened to you? Letting go of expectations and deciding to do whatever I want with my life.
10. Your favorite fashion item? My fedora.
11. Do you exercise? Yes - it keeps the mind free.
