The Sonish is Coming! The Sonish is Coming!

Summer is here and that means we're in countdown mode at our house.  The Sonish arrives in less than two short weeks and we can't wait!  Everything seems to be focused on his arrival...cleaning, groceries, travel plans, vacation days, etc.  The day simply can't get here fast enough!
Unfortunately, this summer's visit is a little shorter than we'd like at just 3 weeks.  Between scout camps and family vacation on Mom's side, time is short and even more precious.  At 16 he's beginning to have a life of his own and we realize we need to make the absolute best of the time we have with him.  (No pressure...HA!) So, I'm reminding myself that what's even more important than travel plans, a clean house, and the right groceries is the simple time we spend together.  Here's to slowing down time and simply enjoying each day!
