The Sexy Secret of the Kate Moss Champagne Coupe Is….

By Fashion Addicted Foodies @fashionfoodi

coupe…her left breast. Kate Moss has enjoyed supermodel status for 25 years, and to commemorate the milestone, posh Mayfair restaurant 34 has commissioned a champagne glass modeled on one of her famous assets. Designed by artist Jane McAdam Freud the coupe has a delicate art deco motif and at the base Kate’s signature along with a cute little heart. This is not the first time an icon of a generation has had one of her bazookas immortalized in a champagne glass. The story goes the coupe (as opposed to the champagne flute) was created from a mold of Marie Antoinette’s breast (Queen of France in the 1700s) but that, like most other great inventions, turned out to be originally British and nothing to do with doomed French aristocrats. The coupe was designed in Britain specifically for champagne in 1663.

The elegant Kate Moss champagne coupe will be unveiled at 34 in October and rolled out at other posh London eateries like Scott’s The Ivy and Daphne’s later in the year.
