There is something magical about having plants in your home. Last week I visited a friend who perfected the art of combining flowers and home décor. Her yard was filled with lush flowers and springtime blooms and gave her home a fragrant flare before even stepping foot inside her building.
Her kitchen was armed with a cute spice garden and her yard held a host of fresh vegetable plants. In her living room there were various plants and small trees that helped to purify the air and add beauty in the design.
Ferns, bonsai trees, and potted orchids made her home feel fresh and alive. Then I thought about my own home and how my lack of a green thumb makes this dream seem impossible!
