Everything started when I first saw Topshop's bottle green vintage-look (= grandmother look) polka dot trousers last fall. Although super trendy these trousers were not for me, they really looked too much like an old piece of cloth (oops, I said it).
Sara, Olivia and a beautiful girl on stockholm-streetstyle.com
I don't remember exactly when but shortly afterwards, the blue version came out and it look much better. This version was quite popular and attracted not only fashion bloggers who always want to look über trendy but also top models and actresses like the beautiful Poppy Delevigne and the lovely

And if that wasn't all, my favorite denim brands have been releasing polka dot jeans since the beginning of the year and every time I see a new style my interest rises a notch. I definitely prefer the jeans version, I find them more cool and wearable and for sure more durable. If I owned the Topshop trousers I would probably only wear them once and if there is something I don't let myself do anymore is buy clothes to wear just once. So the Topshop trousers, mmmh... not for me. But the jeans on the other hand, they look super yummy, don't they ?
Aimee, Walinette and Blair - all in Current/Elliott
I have found many options in premium denim but the alternatives in high street shops are still scarce. If you're interested, Walinette did find some here and the baby blue Kirsten jeans are also very affordable.
Paige Verdugo leggings (shopbop), green Current/Elliott stiletto jeans (piperlime), DL1961 jeans (zappos) Stella jeans (true religion), Kirsten dot jeans (tv3), black Current/Elliott stiletto jeans (net-a-porter)
My favorite is the black Current/Elliott stiletto, they are even on sale on net-a-porter.com but unfortunately my size is sold out (grrrrrrrrr for being so standard sized !!). If I do find them for an affordable price I think I will not resist...
How about you, are you a polka dot girl ?
Have a great week my lovely readers !
