The Period Poem

There's a small chance you've not yet run across this thing of beauty. And a thing of beauty it is.
My students know I love poetry. I subjected them to weeks on the topic. I especially like the power poems such as this - the ones that give me goosebumps and watery eyes. Now, I bring it to you. I ask you all to watch it, to listen to it with heart and mind open, to take it in and sit with it - to feel it.
