The art is
a magnificent product of the human mind.
In the classical and modern art we have to really discover many artists that
have made this expression as a parallel world to enjoy and appreciate. Italy
– luckily for me - is full of the places and the exhibitions where you can
discover more and more the beauties of the art. Of course! You never stop to
discover and be amazed by the art!
There will be - until 9 June in the beautiful town of Lucca - the exhibition dedicated to an artist half from Swiss and half from Emilia Romagna: Antonio Ligabue.
He lived between 1899 and 1965, suffering completely the two World Wars.
Ligabue had problem with his madness: he was repeatedly turned in a mental
hospital.
Perhaps for
this reason his art is an expression of his dream visions, his nightmares and
his dreams.
Ligabuewas a sensitive person who needed to express themselves. He had to give
life to his thoughts: so he did and he painted them on the canvas.
The human thought is not always linear- this artist has demonstrated how much his thought could not be linear. In this exhibition you can admire 80 works that represent an extract from the work of Ligabue , an artist so freakish and out of the conventions.

L’arte quel magnifico prodotto della mente umana. Tra arte classica e moderna abbiamo da scoprire veramente tantissimi autori e personaggi che hanno fatto di questa espressione un mondo parallelo da gustare ed apprezzare. L’Italia, per mia immensa fortuna, è ricca di mostre e luoghi dove scoprire sempre di più dei pezzetti di arte. Certo perchè non si finisce mai di scoprire e di rimanere meravigliati. Fino al 9 Giungo nella bellissima cittadina di Lucca sarà ospitata la mostra dedicata ad un artista metà svizzero e metà emiliano : Antonio Ligabue. Visse tra il 1899 e il 1965, subendo in pieno le due guerre mondiali. Ligabue dovette convivere con la sua follia: fu più volte chiuso in manicomio, forse per questo motivo la sua arte è un’espressione delle sue visioni oniriche, dei suoi incubi e dei suoi sogni. Ligabue era una persona sensibile che aveva bisogno di esprimersi e di dare vita ai suoi pensieri: lo fece stendendoli sulla tela. Non è detto che il pensiero umano sia sempre lineare, il suo caso dimostra come delle volte non lo sia.
