The Next Adventure

"The big question is whether you are going to be able to say a hearty yes to your adventure." - Joseph Campbell
Greetings from your friend, Bree.
Things are definitely improving since my last blog post. I had my first triple date on Saturday night with my sis, her boyfriend, our out-of-towner pals, "Emma" and "Ethan", and myself and Mac Guy. We went to a local bar/restaurant called Neighborhood. I know Comic Con played a major role in the fact that we waited about 2 hours for a table (and food).
Still, despite the long wait, we had a really good time. Mac Guy spent a lot of time talking to Ethan, my sis, and her boyfriend. He seemed to be a lot more relaxed and less socially awkward (AKA less embarrassing).
Since then, I have been contacted by a couple potential new guys. I'm trying The Rules from what I can remember, mostly waiting a full day to respond to e-mails. I'm not sure if it's a new trend or not but these guys seem to want me to call them first. They offered their numbers rather than ask me for mine.
I am not going to call them. The Rules state that the men should be the ones calling. I have to say I feel more comfortable with that idea. So far, one of them has texted me. Not sure what will happen but I will definitely be sharing once my new adventure starts going.
I'll be celebrating my birthday a couple days early on Friday night. I'm excited even though I may be going solo. I'm so grateful for the friendships and fun.
Cheers,
Bree
