If you follow me on Instagram, you would have seen these two looks on continuous rotation. A couple months ago I collaborated with HappyXNature for a sweepstake, they sent me a few clothing items to feature in my posts and I have been hooked ever since then. In case you weren't aware- Kate Hudson owns this clothing line. Happy X Nature strives to use repurposed, recycled material to create clothing that has the least impact on non-renewable resources. Keeping it organic and as close to the nature is the primary objective of this sustainable-living clothing line. Using airy cotton voiles, earthy laundered cottons and cotton flax mixed with organic and recycled fabrics is their expertise. There is no throw-away paper or plastic in their production line. Even the tags that they use is fabric and their shipping bags are bio-degradable and will decompose in 12-18 months. In terms of the fit and style, the happyXnature clothing is pretty trendy. They have a wide range of items, varying from tops to bottoms to coats and sweaters. Can I point to those bold shoulder pads on the blue dress? The dress is partially made from recycled plastic bottles and you wouldn't have known had I not mentioned it. The brown velvet dress is my new favorite- it is warm, fashionably-chic and the statement bow that can be alternately used as a waist-sash is a stunner. As for the fit their clothing runs a bit large, so size down. For your reference, I am wearing a size XS in both the dresses.
