Good’ay you guys!
That was my best attempt at an Australian accent. I just started feeling Australian, I don’t know…
Did you all see the epic pasta salad from last night? It was awesome. So awesome that I woke up un-hungry. Well… un-hungry might be a little bit harsh. I wasn’t a hungry beast, like most mornings. That’s better.
You guys had some great ideas on how to break my fitness funk. Most of them I wouldn’t have thought of. I think:
- yes I’m probably being all womanly {time}
- I need to switch up my workouts. Which I did. Try this tabata blitz!
- And I need to listen to my body. If I need to just run an easy mile to keep up the Summer Run Streak, then do it and scratch everything else.
Breakfast OIAJ Jeep-style.
Just look at that! Aren’t those the best cup holders you’ve ever seen?
OIAJ and tea.
I’m pretty sure I need to blow this up and put it in my room like a poster. It brings me such joy. Jeep. Blueberries. Tea. All at once… *sigh*
Three nights ago I opened my pantry looking for a midnight snack and I thought Oh! A spoonfull o’ peanut butter will do the trick. I opened the jar to find that someone had left just a smidgen.
I don’t know where all these cheesy words are coming from but…
So I snatched the jar and hid it in my room so one morning this week I could make OIAJ!
I love when I’m such a healthy planned out person.
Today was the perfect day for quick oats in a jar. I forgot to set my alarm clock for 6:45 and I didn’t get up until 7:15. I’m failing at getting to work on time this week. OIAJ are the best for breakfast-on-the-go because you can throw away the jar once you’re done.
Here’s what was in this bad boy…
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 2 tsp chia seeds
- a pinch of salt
- 1 stevia packet
- heaping handful blueberries (MY FAVORITE!)
- the last of the raspberries
- 1 empty peanut butter jar
Mix and enjoy!
You’re welcome.
