Carolina Herrera just released a colorful and limited edition of mini Matryoshka bags which should deserve your attention. A few of these bags already strategically appeared on the runway when the SS 2012 collection was presented last fall but only mid-April the entire collection was unveiled.
I always liked the Matryoskha for the simple lines and relaxed shape but when recently Kate Moss was spotted carrying one I was completely convinced (style icon influence, you say ?).

The Matryoshka is definitely not the most trendy bag out there but it is stylish and cool without being too trendy. It's a timeless bag as opposed to the trendy bags adopted by fashionistas and for that it's refreshing.
The mini Matryoshka collection is on the other hand right on trend, with bold colors, mini size and a ladylike vibe.

My favorite is the lemon yellow with green straps, very fresh for Spring and perfect for work or a garden party, what is your favorite ?Unfortunately Carolina Herrera does not sell online so I cannot give you any shopping tips. If you live near a Carolina Herrera shop why not pay them a visit and see this collection in real life ? I know I will as soon as I get close to one...
