The Lady Varnishes

By Marijonails @marijonails
Hi fellow nail polish lovers!!
You may remember that I shared a polish from The Lady Varnishes called It's Not Fair some time ago here.  Though it's a beauty, I didn't have a good experience with the formula.  Well, Kirsten was nice enough to reach out to me and send me a new batch of polishes because she had a problem with the formula previously.

The formula for my new bottle is soooo much better.  It's not too thick or thin.  It's slightly streaky on the first coat, but levels out nicely with the second coat.  I used three coats for full opacity with no base or top coat.  I'm so happy that I got this new bottle.
I also ordered two other bottles from The Lady Varnishes, which Kirsten replaced, so I wanted to share them now also.

The Best Bounty Hunter is described as a dusty gray with maroon, teal and green matte glitter.  It's a really nice combo.  The formula is great.  It applied easily and was opaque in three coats.  I used no base or top coat.

That's Close Enough is described as a bright blue with red microglitter, blue glitter and iridescent hexes.  It applied really well and was opaque in two coats.  I used no base or top coats for these pictures.

I'm so happy that I was able to give these polishes another try.  I was in love with them when I purchased them and I'm happy that the formulas are great!
What do you guys think of these polishes?  Any favorites?
The Lady Varnishes polishes may be purchased online here.  Prices range from $8 to $11, but most polishes are $8.50 or $9.  Kirsten has some really lovely polishes, so check out the store.
