Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar, who has a tremendous fan following has turned 47 today.
The 47 year old actor is not only into acting, but also a producer, presenter and a martial artist.
His fans have accepted him in every role he portrays, be it action, romance, comedy or drama.
He was born as Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia in Amritsar in the year 1967 and has acted in over 125 films.
Before entering into Bollywood, Akki has worked as a chef and a waiter in a restaurant in Bangkok.
The versatile actor has won several awards including two Filmfare Awards and three IIFA Awards. He has been awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India for his contribution to Indian Cinema. In 2011, The Asian Awards honoured Akshay Kumar for his outstanding achievements in Indian Cinema.
The good looking actor is married to actress Twinkle Khanna and they are the proud parents of two kids.
He has recently launched a TV reality show titled ‘Dare 2 Dance’. He is also the owner of the team Khalsa Warriors in the World Kabaddi League.
