A new year
has begun . We have good intentions and
we keep hope alive that all will be
better and our dreams will be realized . After having eaten so much during the
New Year eve party,you ought to have been done footing in the early morning the 1th January. Definitely
impossible for me ! This is why every 1th
January I wake up slowly, I have
breakfast with a good coffee and I wait that my brain will come on the earth! Even if
we are in XXI century, I cannot forget one of the Italian tradition of the 1th January. I
have to receive the greetings –the first time- from a man. Well , it is quite impossible from my husband, because he
wakes up 5 hours after me…so I rely on
my father.
According to tradition every person should
receive good wishes from someone of the opposite sex. The best situation would meet a
hunchback. It is not so easy, so we have to be satisfied with something easier !
Remember this is a tradition and not the absolute truth! Anyway You have already
received the first greetings for the new year ( no problem with the tradition because I will
not be the first) and I can tell to all of you- men and women – Buon anno nuovo.
L’anno nuovo è iniziato e come tutti facciamo buoni
propositi abbiamo grandi speranze e
vorremmo che i nostri sogni si realizzassero. Visto tutto
quello che abbiamo mangiato l’ideale sarebbe svegliarci il 1 gennaio ed andare
a correre, ma personalmente ho qualche difficoltà ogni anno visti i bagordi
della sera prima. Così mi sveglio con calma, faccio colazione con un profumato
caffè, il primo dell’anno, e attendo che il mio cervello si connetta. In ogni
caso nonostante siamo nel XXI secolo non posso prescindere dalla tradizione
fondamentale per il primo giorno dell’anno: i primi auguri devono essere fatti
da un uomo. Escludiamo quindi mio marito come possibilità visto che si sveglia
circa 5 ore dopo di me e siccome la tradizione vale la mattina dopo
capodanno, faccio affidamento su mio
padre. Secondo la tradizione bisognerebbe ricevere gli auguri da qualcuno del
sesso opposto. Il massimo sarebbe incontrare un gobbo ma visto che non sembra
così facile, ci accontentiamo! Come sempre sono tradizioni e non verità
assolute in ogni caso, visto che avrete già ricevuto i primi auguri posso
rivolgermi a tutti, uomini e donne e
augurarvi: buon anno.
