THE INDIAN IN ME
This is my 5th post in a 2 months time, wherein I am all clad in colorful Indian clothes. You could see the other outfits here, herehere and hereNow what do is say about this ongoing sartorial obsession ??? Apparently, it is the super-powered Indian side of my dual personality that keeps dragging me into wearing one each time I hit a chance of doing so...Saturday was no exception, as I got pulled into wearing yet another Indian outfit---of course by my other side of the dual personality.....LOL !!Well not really, it so happened that we were visiting some friends in NEW JERSEYover the weekend and my friend called me the night before to inform me about an Indian event happening within their South Indian community. An Indian religious event always means delicious Indian food and of colorful Indian outfits galore.  I squealed with joy over this chance, as I had been yearning to wear this Anarkali suit, over the blog for a while. This couldn't have come at any better time, when the air around you is still summer like ( allowing to be out without jackets ) and you are having a mythological moment during the  NAVRATRI-FESTIVITIES. Makes me miss home more as I talk about the festivities..... :(  I had bought this during my recent trip to India. The suit can be worn with or without the embroidered vest. Honestly, nothing can be more elegant than wearing your traditional clothing. I was happy beyond words.... Hope you are liking it too !!!

To end on a high note, wishing all my Indian readers anywhere in  the world - A VERY HAPPY NAVRATRI.  May Goddess Durga be with you always !!!
