We’ve been hearing rumors about another HTC One M9 ever since the first leaks of the original phone appeared online. Dubbed the HTC One M9+, the handset is expected to offer a larger display, a better camera, and even a fingerprint scanner. Recently, the popular leaker @OnLeaks posted a couple of renders of the One M9 next to its plus size version.
As you can see in the image, the M9+ looks quite similar to the original M9, but it has a bigger chassis, and there is a potential home button towards the bottom of the phone that could easily house a fingerprint scanner. The back of the phone seems to feature Duo Lens Camera that came with the One M8, but didn’t make an appearance on the M9.
@OnLeaks said that the M9+ will allegedly sport a 5.2” display, and that it will measure 150.9 x 72.5 x 10.15mm. The leakster also added that it is important to note that these are not the official images of the M9, and that he only saw the M9+ prototype – his renders are based on that prototype.
We’re yet to find out more about the One M9+, but as soon as we do, we will let you know. As for its release details, according to another popular leakster (@upleaks), the One M9+ might hit the market at the end of March/beginning of April.
