It seems French design house Lanvin is getting younger and younger as the seasons go by as Alber Elbaz showed a teenager-tinged Fall/Winter 2013 collection yesterday in Paris. There were chunky gold chains with spirited little sayings, pleated schoolgirl godet skirts and the occasional oxford, all intertwined with a sense of elegance only the French can conjure up. The playfulness of Lanvin's newest collection was all quite fitting as Madame Lanvin was famous for incorporating youthful touches now infamous creations. And the oversized winged brooches and appliques? Classic Lanvin ornamentation...
