December 12th 2012 has been touted by some as the end of the world. Ancient people, such as the Mayan predicted that the world would end then. Websites have cropped up all over the place and even Wikipedia has something to say about it.While most people don't think anything will happen, others are preparing for the worst. More likely than not nothing will happen and this will be another Y2K scare. Nevertheless, it is amazing to see how ancient people such as the Mayans, Egyptians, and Druids created monuments and made discoveries that astound us even today.
