Last night's Primetime Emmy Awards was a feast for the eyes as so many Hollywood starlets brought their A game to the red carpet. It was hard for me to even choose 18 of my favorites and believe me that's as far as I can pare down...
What I can say for sure is that my absolute favorite of the night was Zooey Deschanel, who looked like she just stepped off a cloud in her light blue Reem Acra gown. I am a huge fan of Zooey's style in general because she always looks like she's having fun with her fashion. But tonight was definitely a highlight in her red carpet career and I can't wait to see what she wears to the Golden Globes!
Coming in at a very close second was Jessica Pare, who plays Megan on Mad Men. The Canadian actress looked stunning in all-white Jason Wu. Her upswept Grace Kelly looks suited her gown beautifully and her emerald cocktail ring was a lovely and subtle pop of color.
Finally, as for trends, there were many from last night's red carpet, but I have to say my favorite trend of the night was yellow! The pops of yellow were like little rays of sunshine on the red carpet and in my opinion Julianne Moore did it best. I say if you're going to wear yellow, wear it the whole way. And that's exactly what she did in her gorgeous Christian Dior Couture gown.
