In the final chapter of The Crow: Pestilence, Salvador doesn’t hold back to getting his revenge on the SDC. Everything wraps up here but in such a bloody fashion. In the last issue, we ended with the crow being injured and Salvador loosing his immortal power and taken away. We saw that the one man searching for Salvador is actually his brother. He finds the crow on the road and it shows him what has happened to Salvador and leads him to where he is held.
At this point in the story, we have a conversation with Salvador and a woman. Major plot points happen here so I will not spoil it for any readers who are interested in the series. What I can tell you is things. Get. Bloody. Salvador is on an all out rage fest. He does finally get his man but gains so much more in the end.
I thought this was a good final chapter to the story arc. The action never let up and played out as a bit more violent version of the Brandon Lee version of the character that I remember. I came into this series not knowing that it was only a four part series. While I was hoping for a longer run, the way the story played out worked for me. The pace moved very quickly and would be a very nice read in a trade format.
