With Reflex, I think struck a pot of GOLD....Or a pot of the heavenly ethereal NECTAR from the Mt.Olympus. Its that beautiful....Looks like a blush used by Greek Goddesses Hera and Athena.....I cant compare this blush to lesser than this. I have always eyed Reflex and when you see the blush stand at Chanel this is the blush on which your gaze falls first. Imagine, how luminous it could be....
The Joues Contraste blushes are simply amazing. Reflex looks like it rules the blush kingdom...Like the Lion King of the Blush Kingdom. I must say that these Chanel blushes are crazily addictive and one cannot be satisfied with one. One gentleman's advice for the blogsphere...."Own this blush. FORMULA
Reflex looks like a molten lava in the packaging. It is baked with a special recipe exclusive to Chanel. Its laden and emblazoned with tonnes of shimmer and is highly reflective (noticeable in the pan itself). The blush is soft, easily picked up by a blush brush and goes extremely smoothly on the skin to create that ethereal glow ever imagine. It does not emphasize the pores and can be applied in varying degrees from a sheen to a full blown shimmer. The rosy fragrance which is a characteristic of JC blushes is very conspicuous in this blush too.
INGREDIENTS
COLOR
Reflex is a strong orange blush with bright golden shimmer. I call it a carrot color. The Orange has various nuances of coral and copper which transforms and translates beautifully on the skin. On my medium neutral skin this blush looks ethereal. Almost a golden glow that is imparted by the Gods. On lighter skin tones this may not look very good (its my opinion) as the product has intense orange color. On medium and darker skin tones, this blush will give all the glow they desire. The skin would look lit up and glow like anything. This would be one of the favorite blushes used by makeup artists for Medium and Darker skin tones. The orange enhances darker complexions by adding warmth, while the golden copper shimmer gives intense and welcoming highlights on the face.
