There are some colors which can only be expected by Chanel and this is of them. I am sure that a lot of experiments have been done to get a color like this or this color just happened by the maverick Peter Philips of Chanel. Its a Joues Contraste blush that may have entered silently but has definitely made an impact.
With such a beautiful name 'Orchid Rose', there is more to this unique blush than anything else. I am not sure whether its a limited edition but I was told that its a rare one by the Chanel BAs and its worth the money. This is one blush which everyone could wear and look good (I mean women and men too). It imparts a lovely ethereal glow on the face and looks simply beautiful. Its one of the versatile blushes that could be used with any lipstick and creates that perfect harmony on the face. Orchid Rose is got it all in its best ways. The texture is smooth, the blush is finely milled and the pigmentation is moderate, which makes Orchid Rose as a very wearable blush during the day time as well as in the evening. It has that alluring rose fragrance all other JCs have. The formula is shimmery but not frosty and the shimmer transform into a halo when it touches the face. Like other blushes, Orchid Rose is also baked (Europe Version) and trust me, its baked to perfection.INGREDIENTS

It could be called as a 'rosy beige' color by Chanel but I think it has more quality and more colors to it than that simple description. I see a lot of warmth in this blush, overall. What you see in the pan is absolutely nothing on what you get on the face. It transforms into a beige rose blush but does have nuances of brown, berry, peach, pink and plum, making it one of the most complex blush colors I have seen. It does have multi colored shimmer that creates an ethereal glow on the face. Its a blush that would go unnoticed on the face, one could only see the glow being emanated. On my skin, the rosy tones are more prominent and they are followed by the peach tones. In certain lights, it almost looks duo chrome ( I don't know whether I am dreaming about it). This blush would go stronger as a contouring blush on fairer tones while a beautiful subtle highlighter on darker tones. It does have a certain warmth which would not make it go ashy on the face.PRICE AND AVAILABILITYI bought mine from the Chanel boutique in Palladium Mall, Mumbai. It costs 2550 INR for 4 gms. which is fair enough for Chanel as a luxury brand and for the amount of blush you get.
