My Experience with The Body Shop Concealer Pencil:

The Body Shop Concealer Pencil is a fat wooden pencil which will lead to wastage during sharpening and I think sharpening it would be quite difficult due to its width, it should be at least thin if it’s a wooden pencil and has to be sharpened. Till now, I have not tried sharpening it but I know it would cause problem because of its extra width (moti pencil

) and you will have to buy a sharpener from TBS itself for sharpening it, ugggh what a planned game for making us spend more bucks on their products though it’s great if you can find a sharpener of its size that can sharpen this concealer but for me no use of buying a sharpener only for this concealer!!

The texture of this concealer is quite rough and it is not at all easy to blend, for my dry skin it looks very rough and enhances the dry patches on my skin though it would make a good option for oily skin types. I think so, not claiming it, so read other reviews too if you have oily skin, don’t buy it just because I said that it would be a good option for you

It creases badly under my eye area and sets into the lines making them more visible which is quite disappointing!

This was my first pencil concealer and I haven’t tried any before this and after trying this out I feel that pencil concealers are not for me, I’m good with creamy concealers that comes in tubes like the Oriflame Studio Artist Concealer, at least it does not creases under my eye area and does not make it patchy and rough.

The coverage it gives is hardly noticeable and it kinds of just add white caste over the blemishes and dark circles, so for me, it does not give any coverage at all. It makes my under eye area look ashy and rough and same goes for the blemishes. I got the shade 04 thinking that it would be great for dark circles as they are dark than the rest of the face but unfortunately this shade is of no use, it doesn’t cover dark circles rather enhances them giving a white caste over them.

BML Rating: 0.5/5

What can I say, this was my worst purchase ever and I’m done with it. I’d advise you to stay away from it and if you’ve got it, what can I say, just make some use of it like drawing pictures or just use it as a writing pencil
