The Body Shop: Body Butters
I don't know if its the thought of getting more skin out in the summer or that I've now had a big clear out of the contents of our bathrooms as they were both getting done up, but I've really gotten into the habit of applying body lotion at least once each day. This is completely unheard of for me as I'm usually the laziest person when it comes to keeping my body moisturised. The scrummy body butters from The Body Shop have really made this addition to my routine an absolute joy as I've really enjoyed their yummy scents and lovely application.
It's safe to say that the Mango range is my absolute favorite from The Body Shop as everything smells so delicious and always leaves me feeling so nice after application. The scent of mango just screams summer to me and this body butter is no exception. The other scent I've been loving is from the Vitamin E range and while it's not as noticeable of a smell compared to the fruity mango, it's one of those fresh scents that I just adore. You get 200ml of product for £13 which isn't the most affordable in comparison to other body butters on the high street, but there's something about the formula that makes it well worth the money. The consistency of both body butters is lovely and creamy which makes application so easy as the butter feels as though it is melting into your skin almost right away. This is perfect for people like me who hate the greasy feeling left by some body lotions and also the waiting around for lotion to absorb into the skin.
I'm on a mission to get these 2 tubs of body butter (and the many others in my stash) used up as I honestly feel as if I have the stock to open up a body lotion shop right now. I tend to apply a generous helping all over once I'm out of the shower/bath and concentrate on my arms and legs as these are usually the driest areas of skin for me. As I've already mentioned, a tub of the body butter costs £13 but The Body Shop are great for running both online and in-store offers so I'm sure you could save yourself some £££ soon enough. Right now you can save £15 when you spend £30 in-store or online (using the code 14668) so it's the perfect time to stock up!
