After the tearful adieu of Arie Luyendyk Jr., the show had a great ending. The entire audience witness Jef going down on one knee and popping the big question to Emily with a spectacular Neil Lane diamond engagement ring.

The diamond engagement ring presented to Emily by Jef during the Final Rose ceremony features a 2.5ct emerald cut diamond set in a pavé halo engagement ring. According to several sources, the engagement ring cost a worth of whopping $150,000, making it the most expensive diamond engagement ring to ever appear on the show. Emily made Jef wait for 10 full seconds before accepting the proposal and saying ‘Yes’.

The previous season of this show’s counterpart, ‘The Bachelor’ witnessed Brad Womack proposing to Ms. Emily Maynard with a cushion-cut, split-shank pavé-set halo engagement ring which cost around $50,000. The center diamond weighed a total of 3ct.

Emily arrived at this decision to accept Jef’s proposal after sensing the comfort level her daughter Ricki and Jef shared, when they stopped by her villa to meet her 6-year-old daughter.
