Five. My dear baby is now five years old. Does it creep you out I called this blog a baby? Well, I did think of the blog as my kid when I started. Now I kind of feel the baby is now a ‘teenager’.

I admit, sometimes I let it ‘play by herself’ (I guess the blog is ‘she’), while I was taken over by the many complications in life. Especially these past two years. Maybe I have been taken it for granted, while it has helped me so many, many times.

If I am being honest, I might have used this blog as a space to runaway. I runaway from the unpleasant reality in my current surrounding, escaped from boredom, because I refused to be bored. I wanted to use my creativity and write my thoughts down when people around probably didn’t care or even noticed I have those abilities. Because blogging is another way to show people what you are capable of.

If I am being really, really honest, I started this blog because I wanted to be cool. I wanted to be considered as a cool person. Like, ‘Oh, she have that cool blog. She knows this rare film. She knows great films.’ I think somewhere along the way, I might have been trapped by it. But in the end, I always get back to doing something I am comfortable of.

And then the real honesty here is that after now I got caught with many things (like laundry, washing dishes, and cooking which I do every single day now) I forgot the feeling of being cool. Then, I have this blog and do monthly posts, features and reviews I usually do, and then I feel cool again. Lol. See the cycle?

But no, it’s not just about wanting to be cool and feel cool though. It’s about the joy of writing, recommend films and music and fashion. Sometimes I feel like talking to myself, I don’t know whether you like the articles or not. But I know recently that some of you noticed and loved them

:)

So thank you for reading this blog in your spare time, even if you (readers) hated me for not blogging a while or (bloggers) give your comments much in your blog. Thank you for the clicks, even though it takes forever to load. Thank you for the people who wants to write articles here, including the busy contributors. Thank you for the people who always vote this blog in their weekly Follow Friday on Twitter. Thank you for watching films I reviewed and featured in the blog. I feel happy every time people tell me they love the movies I recommended.

Just, thank you for your support.
