The 2013-2014 Superconductor Metropolitan Opera Preview The Metropolitan Opera season launches next month, and we're ready with a complete guide. 2013-2014 promises to be an exciting year in opera, marked by the return of James Levine to conducting duties, six new productions and the long-awaited revivals of Russian opera, Bellini and Richard Strauss at the nation's biggest opera house.
