Teriyaki Burger

The flavors of the Orient will come to life with this delicious teriyaki burger! Spruce up any burger (beef, chicken, veggie, salmon) using this easy to make low-carb teriyaki sauce. Pairs nicely with pineapple too!

Teriyaki Burger Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

¼ cup chopped onion

1 tsp ginger powder

¼ tsp black pepper

2 garlic cloves - minced

Mix all ingredients together and divide beef mixture into 4 patties.

Spray pan with cooking spray and cook burgers for 4 min on each side, or until your desired done-ness.

Set aside.

Teriyaki Sauce:

Sesame Oil

1 cup chopped onion

¼ cup light soy sauce

2 TBSP rice vinegar

1 packet artificial sweetener

¼ cup dried Cranberries

Using the same pan, warm a few dashes of sesame oil.

Add onion and simmer for 2 minutes. Then add the rest of sauce ingredients and stir for another 5 minutes.

Use a bun of your choice or lettuce wrap and place burger on bottom bun... Drizzle the teriyaki sauce on top of your burger and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy.
