The many praises of Temples have already been sung far and wide, from Liam Gallagher (or was it Noel? Anyway, one of the Gallaghers) to Johnny Marr. They’ve been often compared to the Beatles, and within seconds of sampling “Shelter Song,” it’s easy to understand why. Still, there’s something slightly off, and slightly wonderful about the brand new British buzz band; retro yet undeniably modern, “Shelter Song” is vibrant and sharp like few tracks I’ve heard this year. Remember– you heard ‘em here first.
