U.K. duo Temples bring the nostalgia like no other; they’re a hazy mix between the Beatles, the Byrds, and the Beach Boys (the “three B’s,” if you will). Still, their clever psych-rock twist and smooth pop tendencies give them appeal beyond audiences just wishing it were 1966. “Colours to Life” is one such example, a delicate swirl of sounds with slightly more atmosphere than the band’s previous single, “Shelter Song.”
