The Advertiser reports that Starbucks has apologized to a Louisiana school teacher after she posted photos of two beverages she received at a local mall to complain on Starbucks’ Facebook page.
Specifically, the woman was offended by images allegedly drawn by the barista in the foam, that appeared to be Satanic symbols: namely a Pentagram and the number “666.”

1. IKEA instructions of how to install a lid on the cup. A lid or a stir-stick could have ended this crisis instantly!
2. “I will not draw Satanic references in the latte” hand-written a hundred times. This would require dexterity to write in one cup of foam, but as everyone knows, this is an effective method to teach people to not do something you consider bad. And it would save chalk.
3. A note saying “Thank you for your valuable lessons in high school. They, along with my college degree in Art History totally helped me score this job at Starbucks. And not just any Starbucks, but one in a mall, which means a wider dispersement of crying babies than a neighborhood Starbucks.”*
*Note: does not apply to the characters involved in this news story, since we don’t know what grade the teacher teaches, and we suspect if the alleged barista-artist majored in something in college, it was more likely religion, metal, or Rocking Out.
