Few things make me happier than Tennessee Football. I bleed orange… no big secret! The years I attended UT were special beyond compare for our football program, most specifically and celebrated is the 1998 Fiesta Bowl which was the very first BCS National Championship game.
We are all ready to get back to the days of yesteryear… when opponents didn’t win in Neyland and we actually paid attention to the BCS rankings because the numbers actually meant something for our program. This Saturday against Austin Peay, with new head coach Butch Jones, we begin a new season, a new era and hopefully a return to the winning tradition we all so fondly remember!
Here are a few pictures from my Vol Hostess years. My first game as a hostess, we beat the University of Florida in the most amazing game ever and went on to remain undefeated and win the National Championship… it was THE BEST EVER! (No really, look at this clip!)
Seriously, that video makes me tear up! Whew! Best. Ever.
