Take Me to the Barre

Back in May, I mentioned that I helped out with the assistant styling for the Spring/Summer Rock My Boutique Launch.

It was an amazing experience and for those of you who follow me on Facebook and Instagram, you’ll be aware that I’ve been lucky enough to help out on a few more shoots too (including one in my own home!)

The most recent to feature was a very romantic Ballet inspired shoot. This included the most delicious palette of blush and metallics combined with a heavy dose of luxe. One thing I adore about these shoots is the abundance of florals as they arrive by the bucketload! The combination of roses, sweet peas and lithianthus provided by Wild Orchid was simply gorgeous.

Lolly from Rock My Wedding was keen to create two different tablescapes; one more layered luxurious, and the other more rustic and pared back. The result was truly stunning and I was thrilled to get a few of my own plates in there, as well as my Mum’s hot pink side plates!We then got to work tying an abundance of ribbons to the trees to create a stylish backdrop which billowed beautifully in the wind. I think this would make a great photo booth backdrop for my next party.
