Tahir-ul-Qadri Presented Seven-point Charter of Demands

Tahir-ul-QadriTahir-ul-Qadri, the Tehreek-e-Minhaj ul Quran (TMQ) has presented a seven-point charter of demands of his long march in Islamabad on January 14,.

While addressing to a press conference in Lahore on Saturday, Tahir-ul-Qadri termed the formation of Election Commission of Pakistan as the result of “muk muka” between the two big parties and demanded its dissolution.

TMQ leader he will reveal six points of his of demands in Lahore and the rest of others in Islamabad. Tahir-ul-Qadri once again clarified that long march will be held as per schedule and no talks will hold back or compromise his will to take it out, adding  the final negotiation will occur outside Parliament House in front of entire nation.

He said he said declared his mission as “Hussaini mission” and nothing can deter him from his path.

Announcing the schedule of long march, he said it will start from Data Darbar tomb in Lahore at 9:00 am and will end at Bari Imam Tomb in Islamabad.

In wake of Rehman Malik’s warnings that Taliban have planned to carry out suicide blasts on long march and TMQ leader will be responsible for any mishap, Tahir-ul-Qadri said federal interior minister has threatened him directly and Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Choudary should take suo moto action of his statement.

Tahir-ul-Qadri urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan to participate in long march if his party is sincere to bring real change in the country.

It is pertinent to mention that initially MQM had promised to partake in the long march but on Friday separated itself from it citing security concerns.
