The Local (Sweden’s News In English) reports that an employee of an insurance agency called “Försäkringskassan” has been docked 15 days’ pay for spending over 40 hours of company time using social media.
Multiple employees were docked pay for allegedly visiting social media sites, mostly including Facebook, and also some blogs, instead of helping customers on the phone.

1. How much “over” 40 hours was this employee on the internet? Because it’s a pretty raw deal to get docked for three weeks pay, if you were really multi-tasking for a week, reading the Local while you help customers. Then again, if the standard Swedish work day is 3 hours, the jokes on North America, for spending work time, in 8 hour work days, creating free content for Swedes to read on Facebook.
