After featuring the lovely work of Rock Cakes in my Valentine Jolly Jewellery post, I got chatting to the lady herself, Sarah, and we decided to do a little swap. I have had Rock Cakes products sitting in my Etsy favourites for a very long time and I especially love her Bird Brain ring. Unfortunately I didn't have quite enough stock to swap for one of those, but luckily Sarah has a great selection of affordable items too. I expressed my appreciation for her pretty lip brooches, while Sarah showed an interest in my temporary tattoos. And so, a swap was born.
Along with the luscious lips, Sarah very kindly included a selection of other super fun brooches. A tasty looking meringue, a super cute bee and a shiny pencil. I love them all!
It's great being part of such a kind and creative community. All the makers and sellers I've come into contact with online and in the real world have been so generous. I am always up for a bit of creative swapping, so if you fancy one do feel free to get in touch.
In other creative news, I will be taking part in the Pitch + Strike pop up this Sunday. Check out the details here. It'll be my first real world selling event for well over a year! I'm a bit nervous, so if you can make it along please come and say hi.
