THE SHOWS  Survivor

I love when Jeff Probst says "Come on In Guys" and "Wanna Know What You're Playin For" and "The tribe has spoken" I love all of the things you can count on in Survivor, I also love a good blindside too. Wouldn't you think that a taco bar would be a bad idea for people who haven't eaten real food in a while? I did and sure enough, Wesley got sick from it right away. I'm betting everyone was in the outhouse for a while. So interesting how the guys treated Jacklyn when Jon was over at Exhale Island. Not good gameplay at all. I can't believe how long Baylor has lasted, they've wanted her out since week one and she's still standing. Totally bummed that Josh is gone. Oh well, that IS Survivor, isn't it?
Goldbergs
GAME NIGHT! I was soooooo into games as a kid. Still am but nobody else in my house is so that's a bit of an issue, but I digress. Anyway good to see the classic versions of  Life, Sorry, Trouble (with the pop-o-matic) Operation, Battleship, Mousetrap and Monopoly. I bet those were from Adam's personal collection.  I never had Girl Talk but of course we LOVED Trivial Pursuit when we first played it. Getting the last pie piece took forever. Wish I thought of using the kids questions like Erica did to make Barry feel better. What are the chances that Barrynopoly will be available for Chistmakuh? In addition to the games going on at home, there were the games at school that Adam had to deal with. Dodgeball was tough enough for girls but for boys it was brutal, but I would describe it as a rite of passage really. Remember the first time you actually caught the ball and got your team back in the game? Best day ever. Totally forgot about those square scooters until I saw them last night in Adam's gym class. Leave it to Bev to get Mellor fired, she's The BEVANOTOR!!! Of course Mellor got back to the gym. He stunk at curb painting and furniture making, he was meant for the whistle and the shorts.
Goldberg Trivia: Name the song
Goldberg Trivia #2 Name the Sylvester Stallone movie

Modern Family

The writers are back big time on Modern Family all the good lines are back. I have no idea what happened, who got fired, who got hired or just got some sleep and a new therapist but I'm happy with the results. I wonder if the no Luke/barely any Lily combo also contributed to a great episode? Maybe it was Manny's Spanish coach named Diego with amazing abs. For all of my co-workers…it could be the name Diego. Tried to figure out where I recognized Gavin Sinclair from and then I got it. 10 points if you did too.
Blackish
After the family was totally grossed out by the food at the Beef Plantation Dre came to the conclusion they his kids were all spoiled rotten and made them come up with things you can make to eat with ketchup, baking soda and baloney. A little unbelievable but I'm pretty sure that I at ketchup and baloney just for fun back in the day. Anyway the kids had to get jobs and they all did pretty well, even junior finally got it together even though he ran right into the glass wall with the correct coffee order. Note to the director: Traci Ross Ellis looks WAY better with her hair pulled back in a bun. Note to the stylist, where do you find such cool shirts for everyone?
Nashville
Hoping its the beginning of the end for Luke and Rayna. After a quick song and some crazy cleavage on Dancing with the Stars, Rayna went home for the weekend. The families were together in the same city at the same time for 48 hours and of course it was the same weekend that Rolling Stone had a cancellation (does that really happen?) and they wanted Rayna for the cover.  Luke didn't like that very much. Jealous or angry? Can't pass up the cover of Rolling Stone, can you? You know if the tables were turned he'd grab on to that cover pretty quickly and blow Rayna off big time. Everything with the reporter was going pretty well until he walked in on Maddie and her stepbrother making out. Ruh Rohhhhh! What's a Mom to do? Sell out Deacon? NOOOOOOO!!!! Hating Pam and Deacon. Glad he kicked her to the curb. Don't really love Gunnar as a Dad or Zoey as a housewife and now they're both stuck in that role. Kylie actually left Mikah with Gunnar for good. That's ridiculous. Juliette's looking like she's in her 3rd trimester not her 2nd. She's a hormonal mess but she got a great song out of her pain and Avery got the wrong crib. Her assistants an idiot. Who would tell a guy as he's schlepping in the wrong crib that they decided on a co-sleeper? Nobody. Just say thank you. Big premiere of Will and Layla's reality show and guess what? They both came off like idiots and of course…huge hit. As Will said after Layla was freaking out about the way she was portrayed, "It's a reality show…everyone knows it's fake." Of course the homeless dude is a singer. Only in Nashville, right? This Scarlett thing is a real problem. Hate to say it, but she, and the homeless guy have to go. Send um on tour, do something, but they're THE weakest link in this show.
