I was about to complain about the sudden heatwave to hit Los Angeles, but I’ll refrain seeing as how I don’t have it that bad, being near the coast and all. This outfit is great because white reflects heat! And the fedora keeps my head cool…a bit. I don’t know why I rejected wearing fedoras before. They look great. I borrowed this one from my sister (Urban Outfitters), but I’ve got my own that I’ll show here eventually. This dress I got weeks ago on clearance at Old Navy (I’ve just been lucking out there lately!) for $14, and the belt is from New York & Co, also clearance. That’s really the way to shop. I completed the hipster vibe of this outfit with my gray Toms. Comfy shoes are the way to go in the summer. Anytime really…but I’m more likely to sacrifice comfort during other seasons.
In other news…can anyone tell I got a new camera? Yah! I’ve been experimenting and learning from it, so it’ll be some time before I have great creative pictures and all that. But hasn’t the quality gone up? This day I had a lot of fun running around the park with my friend Martha, acting girly and taking pictures after pictures. I will feature her in a couple days.
