Time Away Another perfect surprise is to whisk your man away for the Valentine weekend. For short stays such as these it’s better to not involve too much travel time. Therefore, think UK or Europe for your break, so that it’s only a short drive, train ride or flight away.
There is a wealth of options available depending on how you prefer to spend your time. If you want culture and nightlife then head to a capital city such as London, Edinburgh, Paris or Rome. If you want to relax and enjoy the countryside then hiring a cosy cottage can be the perfect antidote to a busy lifestyle. Any of these gifts are the polar opposites of the usual fare that we get presented with on Valentine’s Day and it can be nice to surprise your man with something totally unexpected.
