Surmeet is the second contestant to win Rs. 5 crore on the latest season of the show Kaun Banega Crorepati.
The 37 year old Surmeet is a housewife residing in a rented house in Mumbai. Talking about Surmeet, a source says: “She is a HSC pass housewife and takes tuition as a financial helping hand for her husband.”
Before her, Harshavardhan Navate and Sushil Kumar won the crorepati tag. Harshavardhan Navate won 1 crore in season 1 and Sushil Kumar won 5 crore in season 5.
The show Kaun Banega Crorepati is inspired from UK game show ‘Who Wants to Be a Millionaire’ and is hosted by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan since 2000. It has been one of the most watched game shows on television. The show is aired on Sony Entertainment Television.
