Surfers Against Sewage Litter Pick

I went to the Surfers Against Sewage litter pick at Southsea today. Windy and cold, but good fun. Met some nice people, sampled a nice glass of vino from Barefoot , got a free t-shirt and helped pick up over 25 kilos of rubbish from the beach!

You know, it’s not hard. If you go to a beach, take a carrier bag with you, put your rubbish in it and bung it in a bin on your way home. Same with ciggy ends. I’m not going to get preachy on the subject, but just imagine your kid running around on the beach in summer and treads on some broken glass, a discarded drinks can or even a used syringe.
