Supper in the Garden, England #WeekendCooking

By Joyweesemoll @joyweesemoll

Most of our evenings in Bath, we processed photos, read books, and ate supper in the lovely garden behind Queensberry Hotel — so pleasant and relaxing when we were still recovering from jet lag.

Cider in Britain was wonderful. Americans have to be warned — cider has as much, or more, alcohol than beer. I really enjoyed it.

We had lots of good sandwiches in England, but these might have been the best. We ordered two sandwiches and shared them. One was salmon, pickle, and dilled cream cheese. The other was a chicken club with a soft-boiled egg which was a brilliant addition.
