Sunny Beach or Golden Sands?
This is a dilemma that almost everyone planning a vacation in Bulgaria faces . Unfortunately, the answer will not be easy, because the choice depends largely on individual expectations. Both resorts are certainly very attractive for tourists. High-quality hotels with a full range of amenities and attractions mean that the comfort of your holiday is maximum, while sunny and comfortable beaches are a great place for rest and relaxation.
Sunny Beach is often called the Bulgarian Las Vegas. Modern hotels and restaurants concentrated on the shore tempt with lights and neon lights. Everyone who went there will certainly confirm that both at night and during the day we can become participants in exciting events. However, opinions often appear that Golden Sands are better for those who, in addition to lying on the beach, have a nice time. There, we can use the rich offer of nearby clubs and pubs. It is a city that teems with life primarily after dark. If we are lovers of dance and open events, their organizers will welcome us with open arms. It is not difficult to give in to the impression that we are really at Copacabana in Rio De Janeiro or Ibiza. With only one difference - prices do not make you dizzy.
Advantages of Golden Sands
There is an opinion that those who would like to get to know the surrounding monuments will not find their way in Golden Sands. This is not entirely true. History enthusiasts can go to Varna - the place of the famous battle and death of one of the Polish rulers, King Władysław known as Warneńczyk. It is also close to the monuments of ancient Byzantine architecture. However, in fact - this Sunny Beach is definitely better suited for adventurous expeditions. Nearby is the oldest town of Bulgaria - Nessebar, whose buildings were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1983. It is also - as the name suggests - an extremely sunny and warm area. It's the perfect place to spend a holiday with children. There are two aquaparks nearby, and the beaches are considered extremely safe.
Both famous Bulgarian resorts are not significantly different from each other. Therefore, the choice of one of them can be decided by the details, opinion of friends or a slight discrepancy in price. However, if you want to convince yourself, then there is no other way - you must go to Bulgaria at least twice. One thing is certain - getting to know all the pleasures and leisure activities available may not be enough available vacation days.
