Listening to: // My Sunday playlist, currently “Amazing Grace” by the Dropkick Murphys.

Currently reading: // I’m still reading Brave Genius by Sean B. Carroll and learning much of 20th century European history while I’m at it.

Blogging about: // The completion of the October Memoir and Backstory Challenge hosted by Jane Ann McLachlan. The final week’s theme was Gratitude and Regrets: 

• Childhood Abroad (Not)
• Career Steps and Mis-steps
• A New Road

That last one, about taking a new road to healthy eating, generated some good conversation in the comments yesterday.

Participating in: // I wish I were participating in NaNoWriMo, but I just couldn’t make my writing goals this month fit that paradigm. Instead, I’m going to join in Nonfiction November hosted by Kim at Sophisticated Dorkiness and Leslie from Regular Rumination. It’s a nice low-key event with weekly themes and link-ups of discussion and nonfiction reviews.

Looking forward to: // Getting my latest scheme to be organized up and running. I expect that to happen later today. Let’s hope it works for longer than I took to set it up!
