Good morning!
Time: // 9:10 am.
The scene: // Snow on the ground. We haven’t had much melting since the last round of snow because it’s been so cold. The roads are clear and, with the help of some neighbor kids, so is my driveway. That and a working furnace in the house is enough to keep me happy.
Listening to: // The hum of the humidifier — another thing that helps keep me happy in the winter.
An engaging story about the times and places of Isaac Newton
Reading: // I’m enjoying Newton by Peter Ackroyd. I was inspired to make one of those new Pinterest boards with the maps to show the places that are described in the book: Follow in the Footsteps of Isaac Newton. There’s more to go — he just got to Cambridge in my reading.
Blogging about: // My Love Affair with England by Susan Allen Toth. I got two blog posts in one day from one book! Her chapter about English food (it’s better than I’ve heard) prompted a Weekend Cooking post and, later yesterday, I got my book review written. I’m not usually a re-reader, but I’ve read this book at least three times, so obviously I liked it!

I got a late start, but I finally purchased the book last week and I did my first Artist’s Date that included taking this photo of the display window at STL Books, the new local bookstore in Kirkwood, Missouri.
