The scene: // Snowy and sunny. Eight squirrels cavort around the oak tree in the backyard. For some reason, the acorns are more attractive under the snow than they were laying on the ground last week.

About my birthday twin, Katharine Hepburn.

Reading: // How to Hepburn by Karen Karbo, the first in the Kick Ass Women series that I enjoyed so much this year (How Georgia Became O’Keeffe, The Gospel According to Coco Chanel, and Julia Child Rules). I saved this one for the Christmas season to go with our annual viewing of Desk Set.
