I love coffee. Yep, just simply love it. That first cup early in the morning without which I just don’t think I could survive the day. A late morning latte from my local coffee-house on my way to a meeting. A pick-me-up espresso at three in the afternoon to revive my chaotic brain and making it possible to refocus on work. That naughty late-night macchiato after a dinner shared with friends. Waking up on a lazy Sunday morning to the strong and rich smell of freshly brewing coffee. That lingering aroma of pure liquid black gold that makes me drag myself out of the bed and crawl into the kitchen. I stand there with a mug in my hand eagerly waiting for those huffs and puffs from the coffeemaker to stop. Finally. Then quickly I will pour that all important eye-opening cup of strong coffee. Sprinkle of brown sugar. Splash of hot milk. A dash of foamed milk. There it is – my perfect cup of coffee to be enjoyed with the Sunday morning paper.
